OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of allotted surplus land is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
