OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The management of an institution by managers of an institution under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the management of an institution by managers of an institution is to be regulated under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manager of an institution carrying on the management of an institution shall make an application in Form E to the Board within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of an institution is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
