STANDING ORDER
To
All Naib Tahsildars,
Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of land by occupants.
2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that map is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Revenue within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
