OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hospital carrying on the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies shall make an application in Form C to the District Authority within three days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies is undertaken, and the District Authority shall dispose of it within three days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
