STANDING ORDER

To

All Rent Controllers,

Subject: The development of a real estate project by promoters under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the development of a real estate project by promoters.

2. The matter has been examined. Every promoter carrying on the development of a real estate project shall make an application in Form H to the Competent Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Rent Controller shall ensure that common area is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Competent Authority within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
