OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form C to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a dharamshala is undertaken, and the Deputy Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
