OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The exhibition of films by exhibitors under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the exhibition of films by exhibitors is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955.

2. The matter has been examined. Every exhibitor carrying on the exhibition of films shall make an application in Form VIII to the Appellate Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the exhibition of films is undertaken, and the Appellate Tribunal shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
