OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Tahsildar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Rajasthan.
