STANDING ORDER

All Assessors,

Subject: The running of licensed premises by licensees under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963 (Karnataka Act 11 of 1963), the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of licensed premises by licensees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall make an application in Form E to the Town Vending Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The Assessor shall ensure that assessment list is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Vending Committee within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
