OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
