STANDING ORDER

To

All Excise Superintendents,

Subject: The manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 (Andhra Pradesh Act 17 of 1968), the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of denatured spirit carrying on the manufacture of denatured spirit shall make an application in Form D to the Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Excise Superintendent shall ensure that permit is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
