STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Director of Education,

Subject: The transport of school children by operators of a school bus under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 (Andhra Pradesh Act 1 of 1982), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the transport of school children by operators of a school bus.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a school bus carrying on the transport of school children shall make an application in Form F to the School Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Director of Education shall ensure that fee receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the School Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
