OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Fishing in a reservoir by licensees of a fishery in a reservoir under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Ports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which fishing in a reservoir by licensees of a fishery in a reservoir is to be regulated under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall make an application in Form F to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a reservoir is undertaken, and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
