OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The management of a public sector undertaking by public sector undertakings under the Kerala Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2003, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the management of a public sector undertaking by public sector undertakings is to be regulated under the Kerala Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2003.

2. The matter has been examined. Every public sector undertaking carrying on the management of a public sector undertaking shall make an application in Form GFR 41 to the Public Accounts Committee within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a public sector undertaking is undertaken, and the Public Accounts Committee shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
