STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Director General of Foreign Trade,

Subject: The development of infrastructure in a Special Economic Zone by co-developers under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005 (Tamil Nadu Act 18 of 2005), the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the development of infrastructure in a Special Economic Zone by co-developers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-developer carrying on the development of infrastructure in a Special Economic Zone shall make an application in Form ANF-3A to the Export Promotion Council within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Export Promotion Council within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
