STANDING ORDER

To

All commanding officers,

Subject: The supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986), the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor supplying stores to the Force carrying on the supply of stores shall make an application in Form A to the Commanding Officer of the Unit within three days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The commanding officer shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commanding Officer of the Unit within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
