STANDING ORDER

All Assistant Directors,

Subject: The representation of athletes by sports agents under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the representation of athletes by sports agents.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports agent carrying on the representation of athletes shall make an application in Form G to the Government of Telangana within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Director shall ensure that certificate of recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Telangana within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana.
