STANDING ORDER

All Patwaris,

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 2023), the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 2 to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Patwari shall ensure that certificate of occupancy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
