OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Land Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a well on Government land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
