STANDING ORDER

To

All Relief Officers,

Subject: The preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hospital carrying on the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies shall make an application in Form B to the National Authority within three days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Relief Officer shall ensure that installation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Authority within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
