OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The collection of contributions as an agent by agents for collection of contributions under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Labour Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the collection of contributions as an agent by agents for collection of contributions is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982.
2. The matter has been examined. Every agent for collection of contributions carrying on the collection of contributions as an agent shall make an application in Form 3 to the Standing Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of contributions as an agent is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
