OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The administration of an estate by administrators of an estate under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Uttarakhand on the manner in which the administration of an estate by administrators of an estate is to be regulated under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024.
2. The matter has been examined. Every administrator of an estate carrying on the administration of an estate shall make an application in Form VIII to the District Court within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of an estate is undertaken, and the District Court shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
