STANDING ORDER

To

All Rent Controllers,

Subject: The management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative housing society carrying on the management of a co-operative housing society shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Rent Controller shall ensure that apartment is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
