PRESS NOTE
Subject: The manufacture of goods for export by export oriented units under the Remittances of Foreign Exchange and Investment in Foreign Exchange Bonds (Immunities and Exemptions) Act, 1991, regarding.
1. The Central Government has reviewed the policy on the manufacture of goods for export and has decided as follows.
2. Every export oriented unit carrying on the manufacture of goods for export may do so subject to the conditions set out in the annexure, and the Board of Approval shall be informed in Form ANF-5A within ninety days.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of goods for export is undertaken, and the Board of Approval shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this press note may be brought to the notice of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.
