STANDING ORDER

To

All Protection Officers,

Subject: The running of a creche by creches under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993 (Maharashtra Act 15 of 1993), the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a creche by creches.

2. The matter has been examined. Every creche carrying on the running of a creche shall make an application in Form III to the Local Complaints Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Protection Officer shall ensure that complaint is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Local Complaints Committee within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra.
