OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants is to be regulated under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 14 to the Board of Revenue within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Kerala.
