STANDING ORDER

To

All Patwaris,

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020 (Telangana Act 9 of 2020), the Labour Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of an inam by inamdars.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 3 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Patwari shall ensure that register of holdings is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Telangana.
