STANDING ORDER
To
All Revenue Inspectors,
Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959 (Odisha Act 3 of 1959), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Odisha hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants.
2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 14 to the Land Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. The Revenue Inspector shall ensure that land revenue receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Land Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Odisha.
