STANDING ORDER

To

All Municipal Engineers,

Subject: The running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a parking lot carrying on the running of a parking lot shall make an application in Form G to the Standing Committee within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Municipal Engineer shall ensure that building is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
