OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The organisation of sport by sports bodies under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the organisation of sport by sports bodies is to be regulated under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports body carrying on the organisation of sport shall make an application in Form F to the State Sports Council within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the organisation of sport is undertaken, and the State Sports Council shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana.
