OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The management of property on behalf of an owner by property managers under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the management of property on behalf of an owner by property managers is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972.

2. The matter has been examined. Every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall make an application in Form E to the Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of property on behalf of an owner is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
