STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Press Registrars,

Subject: The operation of a teleport by operators of a teleport under the Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1953, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1953 (Maharashtra Act 11 of 1953), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a teleport by operators of a teleport.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a teleport carrying on the operation of a teleport shall make an application in Form II to the Board of Film Certification within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Press Registrar shall ensure that declaration is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Film Certification within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Maharashtra.
