OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The presentation of documents for registration by persons presenting a document for registration under the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1964, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the presentation of documents for registration by persons presenting a document for registration is to be regulated under the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1964.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person presenting a document for registration carrying on the presentation of documents for registration shall make an application in Form 6 to the Land Acquisition Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the presentation of documents for registration is undertaken, and the Land Acquisition Officer shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Kerala.
