STANDING ORDER

To

All Inquiry Officers,

Subject: The execution of contracts for a public authority by contractors of a public authority under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012 (Karnataka Act 1 of 2012), the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of contracts for a public authority by contractors of a public authority.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor of a public authority carrying on the execution of contracts for a public authority shall make an application in Form H to the Lokayukta within five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Inquiry Officer shall ensure that disclosure is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Lokayukta within five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka.
