STANDING ORDER

To

All Executive Officers,

Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959 (Rajasthan Act 42 of 1959), the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form E to the Registrar of Societies within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Executive Officer shall ensure that register of trusts is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Societies within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
