OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The business of a real estate agent by real estate agents under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the business of a real estate agent by real estate agents is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every real estate agent carrying on the business of a real estate agent shall make an application in Form H to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a real estate agent is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
