OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Odisha on the manner in which the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land is to be regulated under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 2 to the Land Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Odisha.
