OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The development of land by developers under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the development of land by developers is to be regulated under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of land shall make an application in Form A to the Town Vending Committee within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of land is undertaken, and the Town Vending Committee shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka.
