STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Tahsildars,

Subject: The removal of earth from Government land by persons removing earth from Government land under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020 (Telangana Act 9 of 2020), the Home Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the removal of earth from Government land by persons removing earth from Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person removing earth from Government land carrying on the removal of earth from Government land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that certificate of occupancy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sub-Divisional Officer within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Telangana.
