OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the holding of land by landholders is to be regulated under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Telangana.
