STANDING ORDER

All Internal Auditors,

Subject: Participation in procurement by bidders under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the Housing Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to participation in procurement by bidders.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bidder carrying on participation in procurement shall make an application in Form GFR 21 to the Finance Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Internal Auditor shall ensure that grant is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Finance Commission within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Gujarat.
