OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The issue of policies of insurance by insurer issuing policies under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the issue of policies of insurance by insurer issuing policies is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every insurer issuing policies carrying on the issue of policies of insurance shall make an application in Form A to the Inspector General of Registration within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the issue of policies of insurance is undertaken, and the Inspector General of Registration shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Rajasthan.
