STANDING ORDER

All Sports Officers,

Subject: The running of a gymnasium by operators of a gymnasium under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Labour Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a gymnasium by operators of a gymnasium.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a gymnasium carrying on the running of a gymnasium shall make an application in Form B to the National Sports Board within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Sports Officer shall ensure that recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Sports Board within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Telangana.
