STANDING ORDER

To

All Insecticide Inspectors,

Subject: Membership of a society by members under the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959 (Karnataka Act 11 of 1959), the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to membership of a society by members.

2. The matter has been examined. Every member carrying on membership of a society shall make an application in Form C to the Director of Agriculture within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Insecticide Inspector shall ensure that sample is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Agriculture within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka.
