OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a stadium by operators of a stadium under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the running of a stadium by operators of a stadium is to be regulated under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a stadium carrying on the running of a stadium shall make an application in Form A to the National Sports Board within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a stadium is undertaken, and the National Sports Board shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Telangana.
