STANDING ORDER

All Housing Commissioners,

Subject: The maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 (Uttar Pradesh Act 13 of 1972), the Housing Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every facility management agency carrying on the maintenance of a housing complex shall make an application in Form C to the Rent Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Housing Commissioner shall ensure that project is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Rent Authority within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
