STANDING ORDER

To

All Emergency Officers,

Subject: The operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall make an application in Form B to the State Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Emergency Officer shall ensure that warning is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Authority within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
