OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The development of plots by owners of a plotted development under the Karnataka Apartment Ownership Act, 1972, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the development of plots by owners of a plotted development is to be regulated under the Karnataka Apartment Ownership Act, 1972.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a plotted development carrying on the development of plots shall make an application in Form F to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of plots is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
