STANDING ORDER

All Welfare Officers,

Subject: The provision of services to persons with disabilities by services provider to persons with disabilities under the Maharashtra State Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2018, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra State Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2018 (Maharashtra Act 62 of 2018), the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the provision of services to persons with disabilities by services provider to persons with disabilities.

2. The matter has been examined. Every service provider to persons with disabilities carrying on the provision of services to persons with disabilities shall make an application in Form II to the State Commissioner within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Welfare Officer shall ensure that roster is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Commissioner within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
