OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh on the manner in which the occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property is to be regulated under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall make an application in Form B to the Commissioner of Endowments within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of waqf property is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Endowments shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
